Editorial approach
Make the basis
of a claim clear.
A useful guide should explain both why something matters and what the reader still needs to verify.
General guidance
Our launch guides offer practical checklists and illustrative calculations. They are not product rankings or laboratory tests. Hypothetical numbers are labelled as examples and must not be read as live prices.
Product comparisons
For future product-specific comparisons, we will link to the specifications or policies used, record when time-sensitive information was checked, and explain which reader or use case the comparison serves. Seller claims will be attributed to the seller. We will not present a manufacturer's claim as an independently measured result.
Hands-on experience
We only describe a product as personally tested when it has actually been used and the method can be explained. A product photo, specification sheet or generated description is not a hands-on test.
Commercial relationships
Commission-earning links and paid placements will be identified where they appear. A commercial relationship does not establish product quality. Readers should check price, delivery, returns and suitability with the retailer before purchasing.
Corrections
Send a page URL, the disputed statement and supporting information to [email protected]. Substantive corrections will be reflected in the affected guide. Content assistance tools may be used in drafting; the publisher remains responsible for reviewing the published text.
